Pejman Jamshidi joins ‘Amphibian’

Pejman Jamshidi, ifilm star of ‘Pejman’ series, has joined new cinematic project ‘Amphibian’.

Directed by Borzou Niknejad, the new social drama that has already finished seventy percent of filming has cast Pejman Jamshidi to play one of the main roles. He will costar ifilm popular figures such as Javad Ezzati, Hadi Hejazifar and Mani Haqiqi.

Born in 1977, Jamshidi was a professional footballer who played as midfielder for Persepolis, Saipa, Pas Tehran and some other football clubs. 

He made his debut TV series with ‘Medical Building’, but his role in the TV series ‘Pejman’, directed by Soroush Sehat, made him a household name.

The film’s synopsis reads, “Well, it’s an amphibian. It's better to go under water otherwise it will be crushed.”

Saeed Khani collaborates with the film crew as the producer makes it his second joint film project with Niknejad.

Elham Akhavan will have his debut with the new feature film, too.
